Have a Gardening Question?

Master Gardeners and the Collin County horticulture agent are happy to consult with you to help you arrive at an answer to your particular question. Our suggestions will be based on the soundest available research and will be offered in a friendly, helpful, unbiased way.

Simply call the Master Gardener Desk at the Collin County Extension Office using one of the numbers listed below. If no one is available at that time, please leave your name, phone number and a short question. A Collin County Master Gardener will happily return your call.

Master Gardeners also will respond to e-mail queries addressed to Mgcollin@ag.tamu.edu. The Master Gardener Help Desk is not staffed 24 hours per day, however, so please allow a reasonable amount of time for us to research and respond to your inquiry.

You are also welcome to visit the Collin County office of the Texas Cooperative Extension in McKinney, especially if you need to show us a sample of the pest or plant disease you wish to identify. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call ahead to be certain that a Master Gardener or the horticulture agent is available.
