Legendary Texas gardening expert Neil Sperry broadcasts his "Texas Gardening" radio show every Saturday and Sunday morning from the station of KRLD, 1080 AM in Dallas. Trained Collin County Master Gardeners take turns in the volunteer role of production director for the three-hour show, answering multiple phone lines and entering the callers' names, towns and questions in the studio's computer system.

When callers are too numerous for all to have their questions answered on the air, Master Gardeners share their expertise and dispense advice regarding where to turn for help. They also research answers to callers' questions on the spot, using Neil's various publications as the primary resource.
