Collin County Master Gardeners help organize the thousands of native plants the Heard Museum sale offers to the public.

The Heard Museum of Natural History in McKinney provides a number of special benefits and partnership opportunities for Collin County Master Gardeners. The museum generously makes its facilities available for many Master Gardener monthly meetings and also provides occasions for our members to contribute hours of community service.

One of the most popular public events at the Heard is its Native Plant Sale, held every spring. Master Gardeners provide volunteer services like answering customers' plant questions and helping load plants into customers' cars.
